From the series “Suburbia”, this image examines the darker side of utopia. Perfection was the ideal for family, marriage, and home - but was very hard to achieve.

About the Artist: A Parsons-trained illustrator, Nancy Landauer has worked in textile design and magazine illustration before turning to fine art. Her mixed media collages, neopop acrylics, and abstract canvases—offered here as prints on plexiglass—layer unexpected colors, textures, and images to create distinctive contemporary pieces. Nancy’s work has been exhibited throughout the Tri-State area, including solo and group shows in East Hampton and Westport.
