Small Gray Pool Sculpture

Sculptural and distinctly handcrafted, the Gray Pool Sculpture showcases the expressive beauty of traditional Czech glassblowing. A handblown glass disc rests within a slender dark oxidized steel stand, creating a striking interplay of translucent glass and architectural metal.

At the center of the glass is an open mouth created where the piece is separated from the glassmaster’s pipe. Rather than concealing this mark of the making process, the opening is flame-polished and celebrated as part of the design, giving every sculpture its own unique character.
